Engineers / Technicians – Gas Engineering
Responsibilities:
Development of LNG drive units and systems
- Planning and design of LNG drive units and related piping systems
- Selection of appropriate components and units, for completion of imposed requirements
- Creation of concepts based on the specifications of shipping companies, the safety regulations of the classification authorities and also of the ships’ condition
- Implementation of specifications in compliance with safety-relevant regulations
- Autonomous and independent negotiation and technical coordination with shipping companies, suppliers and classification authorities
- Implementation of pipe stress analysis
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, supply engineering, marine engineering, energy / heat engineering
- Alternatively, educated technician
- Several years of professional experience in shipbuilding or plant construction
- Previous experience in using the programs Autodesk Inventor and / or CADMATIC desirable
- Ability to work methodically and reliably
- Confident manner and customer-oriented appearance as well as good communication skills
- Enthusiasm, commitment and high self-motivation, combined with the ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally according to project requirement
- Good language skills in English (spoken and written)
- High work motivation, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
